Phallic + and - secondary jouissance

1.Phallic + Jouissance

A woman or a man, or two women, or two men, can experience an exciting wish to love and interpenetrate erotically a partner, bodily, orally, analy within a total skin contact in an emotional-erotic-nurturing, energetic and relaxing way. (see Creative cycle, picture3.) The Desire is fusion with the other The emotion is love.

2. Phallic - Joissance.

The emotions are Hate and Fear. A woman or men can experience a combination of fear and excitement.

The desire is to extinguish, imobilise, destroy and control the Other.

3. + and - Primary Joissance.

This is modelled on our experiences when very young. It underpins secondary joissance but not in a simple causal way. Depending on our histories we can be pulled in + and - joissance as a function of events and feleings in contemporary life and its ever changing contradictions.

On what would a post modern society be like?

It would be the accumulation of + joissance - not capital, not ancient religions and would be "green". It would encourage + joissance and discourage - joissance.

Contemporary "post modernists" are rather boring. They "deconstruct" everything but they give us no vision of what we might construct. What would a + post-modern world loook like? it would have to be 'green' - in the sense that if we do not preserve the planet on which we live then our species will die anyway making nonsense of any political or religeous ideology. Then Freud's shortest work on transience would be required reading!

As well as deconstruction we need co-constsruction on the way to a world where we can live, love and exist alive in! What would a post-modern world look like? We have to use our imagination because we dont know. It would need to be attractive to the actually existing modern and pre-modern worlds The monopoly of power of the "modern" world cannot last. The Judo of the 11th of September 2001 has revealed the lack of total power in "modernism".We have to adapt or die. Evolution favours those who adapt
